Forward Role are partnering with a well-established professional services organisation that is currently undergoing a major data transformation programme. As part of this journey, the business is migrating from an on-premise data warehouse to a modern cloud-based data platform using Azure and Databricks.

They are now looking for Data Platform / Reporting Analysts to join the team and support the next phase of this transformation. These roles will play a key part in rebuilding dashboards, supporting reporting migrations, and helping transition the organisation to its new data platform.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on data work, building high-quality reporting solutions and working with modern cloud technologies.

As a Data Platform / Reporting Analyst, you will support the migration of existing reporting assets to a new Azure Databricks-based data platform. Working alongside the internal data team, you will help rebuild and repoint dashboards, validate data outputs, and ensure reporting continues to run smoothly during the transition.

This role is primarily focused on technical delivery rather than deep business analysis, making it ideal for someone who enjoys developing robust dashboards and working with data platforms.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
• Support the migration of reporting from an existing data warehouse to a new cloud platform
• Rebuild or repoint reports to new Databricks-based datasets
• Validate and test dashboards to ensure data accuracy and quality
• Work closely with the wider data team to support the ongoing platform transformation
• Assist with business reporting requests where required

Skills & Experience:

• Strong SQL skills
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI
• Experience using DAX
• Experience working with data warehouses or modern cloud data platforms
• Experience rebuilding or migrating reports between data sources
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to testing and validation
• Experience supporting data platform or reporting migrations

• Experience with Azure Databricks / cloud platforms is desirable
