KS2 HLTA - Primary School, Southwark

Full-time | Long-term | £110 per day (increasing after 12 weeks)

Start Date: ASAP - July 2026

SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a well established primary school in Southwark who are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis within year 3 and other KS2 year groups.

The role will begin ASAP and continue until July 2026, offering a great opportunity to make a lasting impact within a supportive school community.

The Role

• Working mainly within Year 3, running small intervention groups to support pupil progress
• Providing classroom cover across Key Stages 1 and 2 as needed
• Supporting teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities
• Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm, Monday to Friday

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a HLTA qualification or higher (essential)
• Has experience supporting learning across the primary phase
• Confident in leading small groups and covering full classes when required
• Enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to helping children achieve their best
