Salary: £110 per day which may increase after 12 weeks (based on experience)

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive primary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School in Lewisham to support in a Resource Base for children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working in a small class for children with additional needs to deliver the curriculum and boost their confidence and skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant:

  • Either a Level 4 + qualification and/or a degree in Early Childhood studies would be beneficial .
  • Experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth and development.
