Job Description
Due to continued growth our Dudley site are now recruiting for a Quality Supervisor on a full time permanent basis.
Salary: £34,500 per annum.
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
As a Quality Supervisor you will ensure the day to day running of the quality and hygiene functions and liaise closely with the site customers to ensure the production documents/quality checks/GMP comply with the business and site standards.
Key Duties of a Quality Supervisor:
Effectively manage & motivate a team of people and drive them to be continuously audit ready.
Manage the day to day activities of the site QAs and hygiene team ensuring the required standards are set.
To have day to day contact with our customer base as and when required including responding to customer queries and complaints.
To act as the Food Safety and HACCP lead for the site.
To be involved in site audits and customer visits and complete internal audits including GMP.
Collation of data - this includes internal incidents, non-conformances, complaints etc.
Complete complaint analysis and communication of KPIs both internally & externally.
Instigate incident investigations, corrective and preventative actions.
Analyse and be involved in the continual improvement of IPS processes including where required root cause analysis.
Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health, safety and quality regulations.

Qualifications
Experience of working within a food quality environment within a quality role.
Minimum 2 years quality experience including an understanding of quality management systems including GFSI certification.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage, motivate and coach in a positive and clear manner.
Experience of managing a team, whilst fostering an open and collaborative culture, listening and encouraging new ideas from others.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks working to strict deadlines for your own workload.
Ability to work under pressure both as part of a team and on own initiative.
