Assistant Management Accountant - £30,000 to £35,000 + Study Support (CIMA/ACCA)

Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing, fast-paced organisation in Harrogate to recruit a new role of Assistant Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either actively studying or looking to begin their CIMA or ACCA qualification as full study support is provided.

You'll be joining a collaborative and energetic finance team where your input will be valued, and your development supported. The role offers exposure to a broad range of responsibilities and the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handling accruals and prepayments.
• Assisting with annual statutory audits.
• Supporting ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong understanding of accounts up to Trial Balance
• Experience in assisting with preparing monthly management accounts.
• Excellent Excel skills, especially working with large data sets and automated reports.
• Effective communicator with a proactive and inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.

Ideal Assistant Management Accountant Profile:

• Actively studying or keen to study ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
• Experience across various areas of the finance function.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Flexible and adaptable with a "can-do" attitude.
