Assistant Management Accountant in Harrogate - Headstar

This Harrogate based business is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team. You'll be involved in month-end processes, helping the business make sense of its financial performance and supporting key decisions.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist with month-end close and preparation of management accounts
• Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules for balance sheets
• Post journals and handle month-end accruals
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Analyse financial data and highlight trends or areas for attention

What do you need?

• Part-qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
• Some experience in accounting or finance, or a relevant degree
• Good grasp of accounting principles and financial processes
• Confident communicator able to liaise with colleagues at all levels
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a busy, evolving environment
