The role

Our client is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Senior Schemes Manager within the healthcare and medical remit to take full ownership of several large and high-profile healthcare schemes. This position combines strategic leadership with operational control. You will be the key link between all the related parties, ensuring schemes are robust, compliant and future-ready.

Your analysis and recommendations will shape board-level decisions, funding strategy and long-term programme design.

Responsibilities

• Leading the oversight and performance of complex healthcare schemes.
• Managing the financial lifecycle, including renewals and funding strategy.
• Presenting clear, data-led insights to senior stakeholders and boards.
• Acting as the trusted senior contact for clients and clinical partners.
• Enhancing governance, reporting and operational processes.
• Driving efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience operating at senior stakeholder or board level.
• Commercial and financial strength, particularly around performance and contributions.
