The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established accountancy practice in Kingswinford who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team. This is a hands-on role supporting the practice with day-to-day accounts and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the team with daily accounts and office tasks
- Purchase ledger processing (essential)
- Basic bookkeeping duties
- Answering incoming telephone calls and handling general enquiries
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting the wider team as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Purchase ledger experience is essential
- Strong administrative background
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Experience using DEXT and Xero is desirable but not essential
- Well organised, reliable, and able to manage day-to-day tasks efficiently
