The Opportunity
Following the acquisition of three new UK sites, a growing international services business is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of UK finance operations.
Reporting into a US-based Financial Controller, this role will act as the in-region finance lead, overseeing accounting, payroll, compliance, and vendor management across multiple sites.

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Support working capital management and NWC targets
  • Payroll & Benefits
  • Own end-to-end payroll process (with managerial review and fractional HR support)
  • Ensure zero payroll errors or misses
  • Oversee benefits administration and related compliance
  • Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure all UK statutory filings are accurate and on time (taxes, payroll submissions, Companies House, banking)
  • Maintain zero compliance filings past deadline
  • Liaise with external accountants and advisors as needed
  • Vendor & External Partner Management
  • Lead RFP processes where required
  • Manage relationships with CPAs, legal advisors, tech providers, insurers, and other key partners
  • Reduce leadership time spent on vendor management through strong local ownership
  • Operational & Regional Leadership
  • Act as the go-to finance leader in-region
  • Partner with site managers to drive financial discipline and reporting accuracy
  • Support integration of newly acquired entities
  • Identify and implement process improvements

Candidate Profile

Skills & Attributes
  • Highly autonomous and self-directed
  • Strong attention to detail and integrity
  • “Grit” and ownership mindset — gets things done
  • Comfortable operating with urgency in a growing business
