CAD / REVIT Technician (Electrical Design / Commercial)

£55,000 - £65,000 + Pension + Progression + Training + Hybrid Option (Post Probation)

Are you a Lighting Designer with experience delivering commercial or office fit-out projects, looking to join a growing business where you will take ownership of projects from concept through to completion?

On offer is the opportunity to join a forward-thinking and expanding company delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across a range of commercial and industrial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, they are looking for a skilled designer to play a key role in their technical team.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed electrical designs across RIBA Stages 0-5, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and current Building Regulations. You will use industry-standard software such as Trimble and/or ElectricalOM, carry out lighting calculations using Dialux, review tender documentation, and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.

This role would suit an experienced Lighting Designer with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects across all design stages.

The Role:

• Produce detailed electrical designs from Stage 0-5
• Lighting design and calculations using Dialux
• Ensure compliance with BS7671 and Building Regulations
• Review and interpret tender documentation
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams

The Person:

• Experience in Lighting Design
• Proficient in Trimble and/or ElectricalOM
• CAD / REVIT Experience
