Description
- Provide expert advice on corporate tax matters to a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Lead and manage tax compliance and advisory projects from start to completion.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise client outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax legislation and regulations.
- Review Corporation Tax computations and returns prepared by team (assisted by Part Time Assistant CT Manager)
- Prepare more complex Corporation Tax computations and returns
- Review/prepare tax reconciliations, tax account workings, deferred tax provisions for inclusion in statutory accounts
- Review quarterly instalment tax calculations
- Employee Related Securities submissions to HMRC
- Liaise with clients and HMRC on a daily basis
- Monitor workflow through department and liaise with Managers/Partners accordingly
- Review WIP, raise fees accordingly on a monthly basis
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet client needs.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members to enhance team performance.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for business development within the professional services sector
Profile
A successful Corporate Tax Senior Manager should have:
- Strong expertise in corporate tax within the professional services industry.
- Experience of Research & Development claims preferable,
- Proven ability to manage complex tax projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
