Your new role

• Core Responsibilities
• Manage bookkeeping for a variety of clients (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies).
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with compliance tasks.
• Liaise with clients to answer queries and provide guidance.
• Process purchase and sales invoices, manage supplier payments, and reconciliations.
• Support the wider team with ad-hoc accounting duties.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice or similar environment.
• Strong technical skills across bookkeeping, VAT returns, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., AAT) or qualified by experience.
