Interim Financial Accountant in Chelmsford - JSS Search Limited

JSS are proud to be partnering a leading organisation undergoing significant growth in their search for an Interim Financial Accountant. This role plays a key part in supporting financial control and financial reporting, driving opex management, and ensuring accurate cashflow and banking processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce timely and accurate weekly direct cashflow forecasts for Head of Finance and Group Treasury
• Manage banking responsibilities including manual payments, payment runs, transaction analysis
• Provide ad hoc reporting, schedules and financial analysis
• Perform monthly payroll variance analysis
• Collate, analyse and distribute Opex costs, budgets and forecasts
• Partner with budget holders to investigate variances against budget/forecast
• Manage cost centre structures and ensure accurate accrual/prepayment postings
• Act as key liaison for internal and external audits, providing required documentation
• Support internal audit requirements including credit controls and master data

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant
• Strong financial accounting, reconciliation and Excel skills
• Previous experience with cash flow reporting, opex reporting and factoring
• SAP experience desirable

Package:

• £350 - 400 inside IR35
