Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Wimborne

Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour

Start date: Immediately

Contract type: Permanent/Full Time

Working Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

We're seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant focusing on autism to support students aged 5-21. Bring your passion for inclusivity and contribute to creating an environment where every student can thrive. Join the team on this rewarding journey of empowerment!

We are looking for a calm, caring, and highly motivated individual who is very understanding of autism. Experience in a school environment is desirable but work experience that can be adapted is accepted.

This Role includes:

Supporting the teaching and learning of students with autism
Working closely with pupils that display challenging behaviour and emotional difficulties
Working in classrooms supporting Teachers and fellow Teaching Assistants
Full time is preferred but part-time applicants may still apply, as job shares can be available
Hours 8:30 am-3:30 pm

 • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
