1:1 Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

As a TA, you will be working mainly 1:1 with students within the classroom, helping them to access education and engage in lessons. You will have a fantastic personality .You will be joining  lovely primary school in Maidstone where staff are valued and supported. Staff are highly skilled practitioners and work together to get the best outcomes for pupils at the school.

About you:

·         Have experience in supporting primary aged pupils in some capacity (health care, childcare, social care etc.)- Or Be passionate about education
·         Hold a child only DBS or be willing to obtain
·         Must be a UK resident with right to work
What the role may include:

supporting teachers in the classroom
working with children 1:1 or delivering sessions with small groups of students
managing classroom resources
taking children on trips and visits
managing heightened behaviours and keeping children safe
playing board games
conducting experiments
making amazing displays

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
