1:1 Teaching Assistant in Dover - CV-Library

Rikama Education are working with a primary school in Dover, who are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start in Term 6.
This is a full-time, long-term position which is linked to the funding of the pupil. There is a chance of a permanent contract being offered.
The role:
•To work 1:1 with a pupil in KS2 with ASC
•Manage any challenging behaviours appropriately
•Follow work set by the class teacher
•Differentiate the class work where needed
•Liaise with the teacher, SENCO, parents/carers
It is essential that you have:
•Experience supporting children with additional needs
•Experience supporting KS2 pupils
•A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
