Job Description Merchandiser - Streetwear Brand
East London (4 days a week in the office)
Salary up to £50,000

I am working with an up and coming streetwear brand who are looking for a Merchandiser to join them. This is a brand new role for the business, standalone, and will need the Merchandising function to be set up from scratch.

The role:
Set up a Merchandising function that is fully functioning and fit for the business - this will include visibility of forecasting, planning, analysis, margins and pricing.
Placing all orders, forecasting quantities and ratios.
Constantly reviewing stock and sell throughs, placing reorders if required.
Analysing and recognising poor performers and marking down accordingly.
Monitoring margins and deciding RRPs in line with the business.
Work cross functionally with the Design and Marketing teams to make sure product is delivered and available on time for campaigns and launches.

You will:
Have 3+ years experience as a Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser (as long as you have managed your own category).
Be a whizz on Excel and love a spreadsheet!
Have a deep understanding of forecasting and planning.
Be great at analysing data.
Have a detailed understanding of the Buying and Production cycle.
Able to work at a fast pace, prioritise your workload and be comfortable in a start up environment.
Have a true love for retail, especially streetwear.
