Job Description MERCHANDISER - LUXURY BRAND
NORTH YORKSHIRE

About:
A luxury, heritage retail brand, offering the most luxurious goods, providing a world class shopping experience within their retail environment. Currently looking for a Merchandiser to support in their Head office. In this role you will help facilitate the smooth running of the Merchandise department, ensuring the right product at the right time to hit business KPIs.

Responsibilities:
Reviewing stock and deliveries, analysing sales and replenishment requirements
Produce trade reports weekly and distribute to relevant departments/individuals.
Reviewing/analysing margin, sales, data, product requirements for review
Reviewing monthly budgets and sales trends and forecasting and proposing a plan to achieve
Establishing and Implementing plans and actions with conclusions to achieve projected targets and drive sales
Work with stores/merchandise team to identify over/understock issues and make appropriate suggestions to clear stock and transfer to correct areas of the business.
Manage communication with factories and negotiate costs on all lines for both outlet and full price ranges

Requirements:
A solid understanding of and experience within a retail business, proven experience of analysing and reviewing data and processes and suggesting solutions to make improvements
Proven ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines within a fast moving and ever changing trading environment, delivering targets on time
Numerate, accurate with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, strong Excel skills, able to make insightful observations from reports and data for management attention
A proactive approach to work, thorough and methodical with good attention to detail, able to present to others
Oversee the progression of the Merchandise Administrator in conjunction with the Senior Merchandiser
Excellent communication and persuasion skills
Full Time 40 hours per week. Office based
