The Opportunity - Real Estate Lawyer

The business is now looking for a real estate lawyer to join the team to both lead and support on a range of real estate matters. These matters will relate to landlord and tenant matters as well as acquisitions, real estate projects, store fitouts and store relocations. You will work on the preparation and negotiation of leases, licences and partner agreements and you will advise the business on any matters relating to real estate.

The role is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-known retail brands and part of a collegiate and business facing legal team with the opportunity to integrate with the wider international business.

About you

The position will suit a commercially minded and pro-active real estate lawyer interested in joining a retail business. You will ideally have experience acting for retail clients on real estate matters and be able to demonstrate strong landlord and tenant experience. An international mindset would be welcome, along with sound negotiation skills, strong business partnering skills and a down-to-earth approach.

The ability to build a strong relationships as well as an awareness of what is required when working with a multi-faceted business will also be key.
