Job Description

We currently have exciting career opportunities for E&I Craftsperson(s) based in West Cumbria.
 
Our client is an esteemed & innovative engineering company who provide specialist & bespoke engineering services to the nuclear sector. 
Overview of Position:
To repair, maintain and calibrate Radiation Protection Instruments and all other associated nuclear equipment.

Do you have experience in the following?

Repairing, calibrating and maintaining Radiation Protection Instruments in accordance with safety, quality and environmental standards with the team.
Previous experience of servicing electronic instrument systems.
Following maintenance instruction and accurately recording data.
Adhering to site procedures and working practices to ensure compliance.
Provide technical advise and guidance, updating on work progress.
To guide and mentor team members to include apprentices and new team members.
Identify innovation & continuous improvements in service.
Ensure safe working practices and plant safety are followed
Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to problem solve and share ideas with team members and management 
Recording, analysing and interpreting test data
Creative, innovative with a high level of attention to detail
Must be time served / Apprenticeship in either Instrument, Control, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
ONC / HNC preferred (not essential)
Previous experience of working within the Nuclear industry.
