Business Development Manager - Electronic Components

to £40k Basic + OTE

Are you a passionate sales professional with a sound knowledge of electronic products? Does the opportunity to work with big name brands appeal?

I have a brand new opportunity to join a supplier of bespoke electronic solutions spanning display technology, connectors, printers, fans, ESD protection, and more.

As a Business Development Manager, you will seek out new clients and opportunities across a diverse range of sectors including Defence & Aerospace, Fire & Security, Instrumentation, Industrial, Medical, Telecoms, Transport, and POS markets.

If you're passionate about forging strategic partnerships, driving business growth and have a passion for electronics, please get in touch. You may currently be an Internal Sales Executive, Technical Sales Engineer, Account Manager or similar.

The Package:

▪ Salary to £40k plus OTE

▪ 33 days holiday

The Role:

▪ Proactively generate new customer prospects and manage accounts throughout the sales cycle.

▪ Maintain and enhance existing relationships, identifying opportunities for new sales

▪ Identify sales opportunities in new and expanding vertical markets.

▪ Manage incoming sales inquiries, maintain customer records and prepare quotations

▪ Create and deliver inspiring presentations

▪ Generate and present monthly sales/orders forecasts

▪ Collaborate with suppliers as needed.

You:

▪ Degree, HNC/HND level or equivalent in related field.

▪ Previous sales experience in a B2B environment with demonstrable success.

▪ Knowledge and understanding of relevant products, applications, and potential customers

▪ Goal-oriented with a drive to succeed and meet targets.

▪ Proficiency in managing sales databases and CRM systems.

▪ Proficiency in system solution selling techniques including bundle and cross selling
