We are seeking a dedicated Complex Care Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in supporting our exceptional students. As a Complex Care Teaching Assistant, you will provide personalized care and educational support to students with complex needs, ensuring their well-being, development, and inclusion within our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored care and support to students with high-level needs and PMLD, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Assist in implementing individualized education plans and therapeutic interventions, working closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and accessible learning activities, adapting materials and resources to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Monitor and record student progress, behaviors, and achievements, contributing to comprehensive assessment and reporting processes.Requirements:

Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs, preferably within a school or care setting.
Understanding of PMLD and associated challenges, with a compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive attitude towards overcoming obstacles and meeting the evolving needs of our students.
Relevant qualifications or training in special education, care, or related fields (desirable but not essential).We offer:
