We are delighted to be partnered with our professional, established and highly reputable legal client as they seek to recruit a Legal Administrator to join their experienced and friendly team within their offices in Haywards Heath. This is a superb opportunity to join a highly thought of firm.

Legal Administrator

Full time permanent role - office based. Very well appointed offices in central location.

Mon-Fri (Apply online only).

Office based close to station area with free residential street parking also available nearby.

Salary £25000-£26000 per annum, depending on experience plus very good company benefits.

Previous experience of working within an admin role within the legal or professional services firm would be highly advantageous

The role - Legal Administrator

The successful candidate will possess a high level of organisation skills and initiative and be comfortable dealing with clients and other third parties. They will be numerate and able to communicate clearly and accurately.

Legal Administrator

Duties will include:

Maintaining electronic and hard copy files in accordance with procedures

Admin support including filing, scanning, printing, photocopying and dealing with post

Liaising with clients and other third-parties via email, telephone and video calls

Diary management including booking meeting rooms, keeping diaries up-to-date and setting personal diary reminders

Assisting with financial tasks including arranging payments, raising invoices and preparing statements

Drafting, reviewing, proof-reading and amending a variety of legal documents

Use of various internal and external portals and systems

Property work will include: applying for property searches, drafting legal enquiries, reviewing loan documentation, drafting reports, drafting contract papers, drafting leases, drafting rent deposit deeds, drafting licence for alterations, drafting replies to enquiries and post-completion duties.

Experience, competencies and knowledge required

* Experience within a legal or professional services based firm preferred not essential

* Good computer skills

* Excellent communication skills, well-organised with excellent time management skills.

* Ability to work both independently and within a team.
