Job Description

UX Designer

IMServ plays a critical role in the energy industry, providing expert meter data management technology and services that are core to the way the industry operates. It is our job to maintain and troubleshoot meter assets, collect, validate, cleanse and transform the energy data required by our customers for many vital processes and use cases.

At the centre of our business is IMTech, using the latest technology to build software products that our internal service teams and our customers will love. Alongside IMTech, IMCreate - our innovation hub – works closely with our product and engineering teams to actively identify new ways that we can leverage data to drive more insight and value for our customers.

Purpose of the job:

This role sits in IMServ’s innovation function, supporting Product managers and Business Analysts to turn product strategy and functional requirements into digital interface designs that deliver excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities:

* Engaging with and interviewing users, translating feedback into design.

* Lead on UX design from flows to wireframes and demos including proven record of turning complex.user journeys/ flows into user friendly design.

* Deliver design that considers:

* Brand consistency, collaborating with marketing.

* Accessibility and inclusion.

* GDPR and information security.

* Collaboration with Product Owners on sprint planning, leading on UX priorities.

Experience/qualifcations required:

* Significant experience as a UX Designer, ideally in B2B software.

* Experience with Figma, Zeplin, design systems, Sketch or similar tooling.

* Ideally a degree in UX, Interaction or related Design field.

* Proven record designing best practice experiences, using a mix of design capability and collaboration. tools.

* Experience in producing coherent and consistent UX across multiple types of endpoint/devices.

* Good understanding of code with the ability to communicate with developers.

* Excellent communication skills to convey and communicate design ideas at all levels.
