1st Line Engineer - Manchester 

Location: Prestwich, Manchester (Hybrid - Office / Work from Home)

Our growing client based near Manchester is currently looking for a 1st Line Engineer; the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our client's internal users in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and IT capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1st line technical support via phone, email, and in person.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.

Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex issues.

Manage user accounts and assist with new hire setups.

Document solutions and maintain IT inventory.

Stay updated on technology trends and best practices.

Occasional out-of-hours support is required.

Requirements:

Proven experience in 1st line support.

Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365.

Basic understanding of networking concepts.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
