Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic School Administrator to join our secondary school in Sunderland as Administrator. This position involves overseeing various administrative tasks and collaborating with staff, students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and productive learning environment. The School Administrator must possess excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance school efficiency.
* Maintain and update records, files, and databases as needed.
* Collaborate with the Human Resources department to recruit, hire, and onboard administrative personnel.
* Coordinate student registration, enrolment, and attendance processes.
* Serve as a liaison between school leadership, teachers, parents, and students.
* Communicate school policies, events, and updates to the school community through various channels, including newsletters, emails, and meetings.
* Handle inquiries and concerns from parents and students promptly and professionally.
* Oversee the maintenance and security of school facilities and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.
* Assist with the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation.
* Assist in planning graduation ceremonies, parent-teacher conferences, and other important school functions.
Key Skills:
* Previous experience in school administration or a related role is desirable.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in office software and management tools.
* Knowledge of education regulations and policies.
