Due to natural growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a customer service enthusiastic; we are recruiting for an Account Executive, to join a busy and friendly team. You will be responsible for the highest level of customer service, supporting an active and target client base, working with promotions, enhancing client orders, shipments and logistics, nurturing relationships, answering product enquires and ensuring the sales and finance team are fully up to date with all client communication and progress.

This role is phone based and requires a confident communicator; you must have experience within a previous sales role. You will be across multiple departments such as marketing, finance and operations. Our client offers a friendly environment, with training and development.

Our client offers a hybrid working week following probation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a specific customer base to ensure the highest levels of service and efficiency.
Maintain regular proactive telephone contact with existing and potential customers.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Utilise promotional activities to increase the sales value of orders (upselling).
Anticipate and promptly address any service issues to meet customer KPIs.
Liaise between production and customers, addressing general enquiries about deliveries and production.
Keep the external sales team informed of relevant developments related to their accounts.
Coordinate with transport companies, booking collections, and processing delivery paperwork for customers.Key Competencies/Attributes:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (internal and external)
Knowledge with logistics documentation; customs
Previous customer service experience - ideally within a phone based role
Experience with Excel and Word and preferably SAP
Team player with strong influencing skills and tactful diplomacy.
Self-motivated, able to work independently.
Enthusiastic with an exceptional work ethic.
