Job Title: Sewing Machinist

Location: Denham

Pay Range: £25,500 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Omega Resource are now supporting a global recognised specialist manufacturer of ejection seats and safety-related equipment for aviation industry. The right candidate will be responsible for the assembling, cutting and stitching all fabric and webbing parts required for Seat Assembly and Survival aid containers.

Key Responsibilities – Sewing Machinist

Use templates to cut and mark fabric prior to sewing.
Follow technical drawings.
Build plans to manufacture components from appropriate fabrics using industrial sewing machines.  

Qualifications & Requirements – Sewing Machinist

Able to use an industrial sewing machines.
Understanding of weft and weave.
Experience of sewing different materials, webbing etc.
Working to verbal instructions on development jobs where drawings do not yet exist.
