Ideal Recruit are currently looking for a Transport Coordinator on behalf of our client in the Barnsley area. 

Key Responsibilities:

Actively drive 3PL Transport Sales.                                                      
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.                                          
Ensure all relationships deliver margin expectation.                                                  
Use tools at hand to grow topline sales.                                                          
Return loads/Haulage Exchange and alike.                                                     
Support the Transport Manager to utilise fully all vehicles.                                                              
Support the Transport Manager in management of transport office - covering holidays and alike.                                               
Maintain 3PL sales tracker with relevant information to show profitability to wider audience.                                               
Support wider business re own work versus 3rd party work, using external haulier as and when required.                        
Requirements:

Previous experience in a transport related role (desirable)
Excellent administration skills
Experience in a customer facing role/customer service experience
