The role

A fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Associate/ Senior Associate Commercial Property Solicitor to join our busy Legal 500 recognised team, based at our Kettering office.

You will be competent at working independently and handling your own caseload, supported by the Partners and other members of the team. You would also be providing guidance and mentoring to our more junior team members, to help develop their skills and expertise. However, at all levels, this is a role where your voice will be heard, with genuine scope for a challenging but supported career. There is a career plan in place, and the opportunity to focus on niche areas as the team grows.

The Responsibilities

You’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of property matters, including, but not limited to:

leases

freehold property

development land

agricultural property

acting for SIPPS/SASSs, corporates, individuals

dealing with commercial lenders

Option Agreements, Promotion Agreements, and Overage

Requirements

Qualified solicitor in commercial property, working at, or towards Associate / Senior Associate level.

Strong knowledge of commercial property law.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage a caseload of complex matters and meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Experience in mentoring and providing guidance to junior members of the team.
