Red Rock Partnership are happy to be hiring for our esteemed client based in Rotherham S61.

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure efficient production processes.

We are seeking for a Skilled Machine Operator on a 3 rotating shift pattern.

To be considered for the role, you must be flexible to work a 3 rotating shift pattern on days and afternoons. Please be aware you must be punctual and have excellent attendance.

£12.93 per hour for working Mornings and Afternoons

Rotating shifts as follows:

Mornings – 6am to 2pm - Monday to Friday.

Afternoons – 2pm to 10pm - Monday to Friday.

Nights - 10pm to 6am Sunday to Thursday.

The role involves:

* Machine Operators who have previously worked on fast moving machines and have some experience of tool changes.

* Total Productive Maintenance.

* Wire drawing experience that would be an advantage

* Operate and monitor machines to ensure they are running smoothly and producing high-quality products

* Set up machines according to specifications and adjust settings as necessary

* Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition

* Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production and make necessary adjustments or repairs

* Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards

* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

* Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

* Proficiency in using CAD software for machine programming and design

* Familiarity with tooling and materials handling techniques

* Experience with welding processes is a plus

* Knowledge of SolidWorks or other similar software is preferred

* Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting heavy objects if required

* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

* Familiarity with logic controllers is beneficial
