About the Role:
As an Asbestos Surveyor with Integral Staff's client, you will play a vital role in conducting thorough asbestos surveys and assessments across a wide range of properties and sites. Your expertise will help ensure that our clients comply with all current health and safety regulations regarding asbestos management. This position offers the chance to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to residential properties, providing invaluable services that contribute to public health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys on various property types.
Identifying and recording the presence of asbestos-containing materials through sampling and assessment.
Preparing detailed survey reports, including risk assessments and management recommendations.
Ensuring compliance with current legislation and health and safety guidelines related to asbestos.
Working closely with clients to provide advice and support on asbestos management and removal strategies.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
We're Looking For:
A BOHS P402 (or equivalent) qualification in asbestos surveying and sampling.
Previous experience in conducting asbestos surveys, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce precise and accurate reports.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-specialists.
A full UK driving license and willingness to travel nationwide as required.
The ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively, while also being a collaborative team member.
Van + Fuel Card + Hotel bookings for if you are required to work further away.
