As an SEN Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who are not currently attending a named school provision, in alignment with their Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and any other relevant supporting documentation.

The role is ongoing, with the possibility of tutoring a range of students on an ongoing basis, or until a suitable full-time provision is sourced. The role provides you with the opportunity to be flexible in your working hours - part-time or full time are both considered!

Key Responsibilities - SEN Tutor:

* Delivering tailored one-to-one intervention sessions to students with SEN, achieving key educational and personal development targets.
* Fostering academic growth and personal development based on individual needs and goals.

* Collaborating with parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each student.
* Maintaining accurate records of progress and feedback to track student development & attendance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Experience working with children or young people with SEN, preferably in an educational setting.
* Understanding of EHCPs and the ability to implement interventions in line with specific needs and targets.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the unique needs of individuals with SEN.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), an alternative equivalent qualification, or training in Special Education Needs is desirable but not essential.

The benefits of joining Tradewind Recruitment:
