Maintenance Operative in Grays - CV-Library

Our fast growing client is looking for Maintenance Operatives on a full time basis to assist in the preparation of a range of site equipment prior to going out on hire.

Reporting to the Site Manager / Site Supervisor.

Working hours - Monday - Friday - 08:00 to 16:30

Working within a small team in the depot.

* Cleaning of units and fittings internally and externally in a timely manner

* Basic painting of exteriors with roller and/or brush.

* The removal of internal fittings prior to works.

* Assembly and cleaning of Value Added Products.

* To work closely with and assist trades people.

* Ensure the yard and workshop is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis

* Complete all necessary paperwork as requested, to include repair and job sheets

* Working at height.

* Manual handling.

* Basic (repair/replace) joinery, flooring and plumbing tasks.

* To undertake general maintenance works both internally and externally.

* Good general physical fitness.

* Ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team

* Has a strong work ethic.

* Flexible attitude to working.

* Proactive.

* Capable of working to and achieving set targets/deadlines.
