My client are a leader in data center infrastructure management (DCIM) and Building Management Systems (BMS), is seeking an experienced BMS/Power Systems Integration Engineer to enhance their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a pivotal role in the integration and design of cutting-edge DCIM and BMS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead DCIM & BMS integration and design activities.
Manage external consultants and contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.
Review and approve DCIM architecture and designs, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven track record of designing monitoring systems for data centres.
Expertise in configuring system applications for new deployments and retrofits.
Strong leadership in integration design delivery.
Close collaboration with customers to tailor DCIM solutions from pre-sale to final handover.
Extensive experience in mission-critical industries.
In-depth design knowledge of DCIM systems including BMS, security, and IT.
Familiarity with BMS and EPMS brands such as Tridium, Schneider, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Hitachi.
Proficiency with BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, SNMP, API, and MQTT power integration.
Capability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.
Exceptional problem-solving skills for both onsite and remote applications.
Willingness to travel to customer sites, both in the UK and internationally.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Awareness of health and safety regulations in critical environments.
