Working for this award-winning international commercial law firm as Associate, you will work within the Healthcare team to advise government bodies, private providers and insurers on a range of issues including inquests and public inquiries, mental health law, healthcare law including patient complaints, sudden untoward incidents, Ombudsman investigations and funding issues.

Salary – Up to Circa £46,000 Per Annum DOE

Location – Liverpool + Hybrid 2 days from home

Role Type – Permanent / Full Time / 9-5:30 / Mon-Fri

The Role

The position will see you handle a diverse range of responsibilities including preparing for and representing at Inquests and Court of Protection cases concerning treatment and best interest disputes. Additionally, you will address public law issues including patient and public involvement, consultation, judicial review, and human rights.

You will also deliver training to clients, focusing on mental capacity and mental health law. Collaborating with other lawyers in the sector, you are expected to identify and develop new products and work streams that will benefit our clients and contribute to new business development. This role requires a proactive, knowledgeable individual who is ready to engage deeply with the complex facets of healthcare and public law.

Ideally you will possess inquest and advocacy experience as well as demonstrable CoP experience. You’ll need 2-3 years PQE.
