Costs Draftsperson (Claimant Personal Injury)
Location: Manchester
Salary : Up to £50,000
Previous Experience : Experience as a Costs Draftsperson ideally in Claimant Personal Injury work.
A dynamic Costs team based in Manchester are recruiting for an experienced Costs Lawyer. You will handle a diverse range of costs work including Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Court of Protection, Commercial, and Solicitor/Client matters. The team prides itself on professionalism, efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to its clients.
The Role:
The firm are seeking a skilled Costs Draftsperson with expertise in handling Claimant Personal Injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting Bills of Costs, negotiating costs, and managing their own caseload from inception to completion. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working arrangements and includes a performance-based annual bonus scheme.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely and efficient service to clients.
Maintain professional and courteous communication with departmental clients.
Ensure high client satisfaction and service standards.
Stay updated on relevant laws and Civil Procedure Rules
Handle tasks such as Bills of Costs, Replies/Points of Dispute, Costs Budgets, Negotiations, and Advices.

Bonus Scheme:
The bonus scheme allows for up to 10% of gross earnings to be paid annually based on performance.
