Uplands Vets have a fantastic opportunity as a Full or Part time Small Animal Vet at our Bressingham branch.
We are open to Flexible working; the role has no OOH or Weekend working!
Salary: £40,000-£60,000 pro rata, dependent on experience
Hours: Full time
Location: Bressingham, Norfolk

About us:
We have an enthusiastic and friendly team with great facilities. The whole team is involved in shaping all changes within the clinic, and we welcome all ideas. Above all, we focus on looking after our team.
Our team is dedicated to providing the best possible care to our patients, with all the up-to-date equipment you would expect in a modern clinic and have established gold standard clinical protocols.
We have separate cat, dog and exotic wards to keep our patients as stress free as possible.
We have a separate dental suite.
We have a separate imaging room with up-to-date digital x-ray and ultrasound equipment.
We have a well-equipped in-house laboratory.
We have three spacious consultation rooms.
A large waiting room with separate areas for cats, dogs and anxious pets
We have a separate quiet room for euthanasias, with toys, treats and a sofa. A great nonclinical area for our clients to say their final goodbyes.
We have a highly skilled nursing team and have in place several specialist nursing clinics, such as dermatology, diabetic, weight management, puppy preschool.
We have nurses completing a range of further qualifications including Schedule 3 procedures, ultrasonography, advanced medical nursing, anaesthesia, feline behaviour and dermatology.
We have two in-house behaviourists that work within our client care team. They run behaviour appointments and training sessions on a weekly basis.
Vets can benefit from utilising the support available from other veterinary specialists/colleagues via Zoetis DX and Vet on the Net..
We are an eco-friendly practice, that is mindful of our carbon footprint and our effect on the environment. We have reusable clinical charts, a compost heap and our own her garden for rabbits.
We have set up a wildlife fund which allows us to treat stray animals and wildlife.
We have a lovely outside area to relax and soak up some sun, when we are lucky enough to have any!
You can bring your dog to work with you every day! We have our own staff kennelling facilities.

Area:

Bressingham is a lovely village on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Local amenities and easy access to other major cities are available in the nearby town of Diss. A 20-minute train ride will take you to the fantastic city of Norwich and in just under 2hrs you could be soaking up the atmosphere and checking out the sights in London. The beautiful beach at Southwold is not far and we have Thetford Forest nearby.
Need to bring your canine friend to work? We have kennels for our teams pets! Fancy taking the dog for a walk during your lunch? Try the popular dog walking area Wortham Ling, just 2 minutes away!
Accommodation can be offered initially in our two-bedroom spacious flat in nearby Harleston. Access to a vehicle can be offered for the first 3 months of commencing work with us if required.

The Role:
20-minute consultations
Modern, light and spacious environment

Regular team meetings and working groups.
Balance of medical and surgical cases
Regular breaks built into the appointment diary.
Admin time to catch up on notes, call clients and discuss cases with colleagues during the day, this is all done to make sure you finish on time.

You may have experience in the following: Small Animal Surgeon, Pet Surgeon, Small Animal Vet, Veterinarian, Veterinary Surgeon, etc.
