The Contract Manager / Professional Quantity Surveyor Role
A newly created role, our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager/Quantity Surveyor with expertise in managing costs for third-party contracts. You will provide comprehensive support in quantifying, analysing, and managing costs whilst ensuring value is driven out of this third-party contract.
Working closely with the finance function you will conduct detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies, and budget assessments around the delivery of services for the contract, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with the terms of the contract.
You will collaborate closely with the contract provider and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights for cost analysis and planning. You will review the contracts and service deliverables assessing their financial implications and legal ramifications, conducting thorough audits and evaluations of contract expenditures, identifying discrepancies, cost-saving opportunities, and potential legal risks.
The Contract Manager / Professional Quantity Surveyor Candidate
You will ideally hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or the legal field with a proven track record in quantity surveying and contract management, preferably within a service based industry.
You will have a strong understanding of legal principles, contracts, and regulations with demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and make informed recommendations along with proven stakeholder management skills will be essential.
You will have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
