Are you an experienced electrical engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Look no further! We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Ayrshire as an Electrical Engineer.
About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our electrical systems and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
Troubleshooting and diagnosing complex electrical issues related to machinery and production lines
Collaborating closely with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
Participating in daily technical operations reviews, providing valuable electrical input
Effective time management and prioritization of electrical tasks to meet agreed timescales
Investigating root causes of electrical issues and implementing corrective or preventive actions
Monitoring machine and line performance post-electrical maintenance activities
Providing overtime cover for production or electrical maintenance activities as needed
Assisting with electrical aspects of projects and issues affecting line performance
Willingness to work closely with the multi-disciplined Engineering Team
What We're Looking For
Completion of a time-served electrical engineering apprenticeship
Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation
Ability to adopt a flexible and reactive approach to electrical breakdowns and maintenance
Strong attention to detail and commitment to working within current Health and Safety guidelines
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desire for continuous learning and professional development
