Finance Manager in Bromsgrove - SF Partners

SF Recruitment are recruiting for a permanent Finance Manager for a well-established business based in Bromsgrove.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business and take ownership of the finance function, working closely with the Managing Director and wider senior leadership team.

The role would suit a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working closely with an operational business and wants genuine autonomy and responsibility. You will have broad exposure across management accounts, cashflow, budgeting, financial controls and business partnering, while also supporting the continued growth and development of the business.

The company is open to both qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA candidates and those who are qualified by experience. Experience within the construction, contracting or project-based environment would be advantageous.

Duties include:
Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
Managing budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
Monitoring cashflow and working capital
Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll activities
Business partnering with operational and project teams
Supporting project and contract profitability analysis
Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
Supporting year-end accounts and audit processes
Providing financial insight to the Managing Director to support commercial decision-making
Identifying and implementing improvements to finance systems, processes and reporting
Taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function and ensuring accurate and timely financial information
