Asia Team Leader in London - C&M Travel Recruitment

Senior Asia Sales Consultant/Team Leader required to join this growing experiential tailormade tour operator. They are looing for a highly experienced Asia-Specialist Travel Consultant to take responsibility for their Asia team and lead from the front. The intention is that this role will evolve into a Head of Asia position where this individual will oversee this region for the company. You will be dynamic and looking for a step into management and you will not only be passionate about travel but about sustainable responsible travel that makes a positive impact on the environment, wildlife and communities at the destinations.

Salary dependent upon level of experience Circa 40K is a good approximate estimate. Role can be Fully Remote, Hybrid or Office-based.

Senior Asia Sales Consultant/Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Liaise with new clients, providing destination and product expertise
• Curate tailor-made experiences to finely match customers wishes
• Utilisation of CRM to efficiently manage bookings
• Handle administration of itineraries, ensuring information is translated across accurately with ground  suppliers
• Play a crucial role in the development of new Asian destinations in the company product portfolio
• Mentor and coach the team
• Attend supplier events and product training sessions

Senior Asia Sales Consultant/Team Leader Skills and Experience required:

• Highly experienced in a tailor-made travel sales role, specifically Asia (including the Indian Subcontinent)
• Strong existing contacts on the ground in Asia
• Substantial first-hand experience of travelling in Asia
• A strong competent sales aptitude
• Feel ready and excited to move  into leadership.
• A strong passion for sustainable responsible travel is essential as it the core of everything this company do. They run initiatives throughout the year with this in mind.
