Finance Manager (Dubai) in London - Robert Half

This well-established architecture business is looking to hire a Finance Manager based in Dubai as part of its continued growth plans.

The company has a strong presence across multiple countries and is looking for an experienced finance professional who can add value to the finance function while also supporting the wider business.

Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, based in London, you will manage a team of four and take ownership of the month-end close process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing month-end closing, including balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and intercompany accounting
• Analysing and explaining movements against forecast
• Preparing management accounts and statutory accounts
• Managing corporate tax and VAT
• Driving finance system enhancements and process improvements
• Supporting the wider business with financial insight and analysis
• Managing and developing a team of 4

Profile

The successful candidate for the Finance Manager vacancy will be ACA/ACCA/ACCA qualified with a few years of work experience in industry.

A 'can-do' attitude is required as well as experience within an international business. Sound knowledge of accounting standards. Strong communication and influencing skills with ability to simplify complex problems and build solution are desired. This is a fully office-based role in Dubai.
