SEND Teaching Assistant (KS2) - Islington, North London
£100-£105 per day (PAYE) - depending on exprience | Long-Term Opportunity

SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive two form entry primary school in Islington, who are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive school community that truly values both pupil wellbeing and staff development.

The Role:

• Start Date: September 2026
• Contract: Full-time, up to 5 days per week
• Hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm
• Daily Rate: £100-£105 PAYE (dependent on experience, and expected pay uplift after 12 weeks in the placement)
• Duration: Ongoing until July 2027, with potential to continue into the next academic year

You will be supporting pupils in KS2 (Years 3-6), working both 1:1 and in small groups, helping to deliver targeted interventions and ensuring all children can access learning in a positive and inclusive environment.

About You:

• Experienced Teaching Assistant with strong classroom knowledge
• Confident supporting children with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Skilled in delivering interventions to support academic progress
• Comfortable working across KS2 (Years 3-6)
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to respond to the needs of the classroom
• Passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing
