Our client is seeking a friendly and efficient Receptionist Administrator to be the welcoming face of their school. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the reception area while providing vital administrative support.


Term time | 35 hours per week | 8:00am to 4.00pm


About the School:

This beautiful school is a well-established, over-subscribed, Outstanding (Ofsted 2024) special school for students aged 3-19 with severe language and communication difficulties including autism. The school offers a unique service to local children.

In this role, you will be responsible of:

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff, providing exceptional customer service
  • Manage the school diary, scheduling events, meetings, and minibus bookings
  • Support the administration of school events, interviews, and hospitality
  • Liaise with parents, the local authority, and external agencies
  • Accurately maintain pupil records, ensuring information is readily available
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school office



We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience working with in the School
  • 2 recent and relevant references
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency with computers and office software like SIMS, Arbor
  • A commitment to teamwork and a willingness to learn
