Position Overview:

We're seeking a Pacing Cardiac Physiologist to with inpatient wards and outpatients.


  • To take a lead in pacemaker, ICD and CRT follow up checks, documenting results and accounting for programming changes and making decisions about further diagnostic investigation or intervention as required
  • To support PPM, ICD and CRT implantation including selection of appropriate devices and programming appropriately for each patient.
  • To navigate remote monitoring platforms and create detailed reports


Essential Skills


  • BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
  • ILS
  • RCCP registration (desirable)
  • British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) accreditation or European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) accreditation or International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) accreditation
  • Experience with Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Biotroniks and St Jude Pacemaker programmers
  • Experience as independent practitioner in cardiology investigations
  • Experience of assisting in Pacemaker and Implantable Loop recorder implantation (desirable)
  • 24 hour Holter analysis.
