Randstad Education is seeking compassionate and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistants with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 or small group basis across primary schools in Leeds.

Key Requirements
  • Essential UK Experience: Direct experience within a UK EYFS classroom supporting pupils with additional needs (e.g., ASD, Speech & Language delays, ADHD, or physical requirements).

  • Specialised Intervention: Ability to adapt play-based learning tasks to match individual support plans (EHCPs) and carry out speech or sensory routines.

  • Safeguarding & Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for a new check through Randstad).

  • Core Skills: Outstanding de-escalation skills, emotional resilience, a gentle tone, and a firm commitment to inclusive education.
