Job Description

If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment and you're equally comfortable closing a sale as you are running a smooth operation, this could be a great fit. Our client is looking for a Centre Executive to take real ownership of how their Birmingham centre performs, commercially and operationally. This role is based predominantly at the Reading site however a weekly trip to the Brighton site along with cover when needed will be required.

About our client

Our client operates flexible workspace across the UK, providing businesses of all sizes with professional, well-managed environments to work from. Their centres are busy, customer-facing spaces where no two days look the same, and they take real pride in the experience they deliver to everyone who walks through the door.

The role

Based on-site you'll be the heartbeat of the centre. You'll manage daily operations, lead a small team, and work closely with the Commercial Sales Executive to drive revenue and hit KPIs. This isn't a back-office role. You'll be front and centre with customers, prospects, and your team every day.

What you'll be doing
  • Running the day-to-day operation of the centre, from opening through to close, maintaining high standards throughout
  • Conducting tours and managing the full sales process from first enquiry to signed agreement
  • Driving revenue beyond fixed office lettings, including co-working, meeting rooms, and events space
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing a team of Centre Operations Assistants
  • Tracking sales performance and KPIs, reporting into the Commercial Sales Executive and identifying opportunities to improve
  • Partnering with marketing on local campaigns to grow visibility and demand for the centre
Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing supervisory or management role, ideally in hospitality, flexible workspace, facilities, or a similar environment
  • A genuine commercial instinct, with a track record of contributing to revenue targets
  • Strong communicator, confident leading a team and dealing with customers at all levels
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle operational and commercial priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office 365 and CRM tools

  • Familiarity with P&L oversight or budget management
