Associate Director - Accountant in Milton Keynes - Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment

My client, a growing and ambitious accountancy practice, is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Director to join their leadership team (just under Managing Director) and play a key role in shaping the future growth of the firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded advisor who enjoys building trusted relationships with business owners, leading teams and delivering strategic tax and advisory solutions.

The Role:

• Managing and developing a significant portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor

• Providing corporate and personal tax advisory support

• Identifying new business opportunities and growing client relationships

• Managing WIP, recoverability, billing and fee budgets

• Leading, mentoring and developing managers and senior staff

• Supporting strategic planning, operational improvements and firm-wide initiatives

• Driving innovation and improving client experience through technology and new ways of working

The Ideal Candidate:

• ACCA and/or CTA qualified

• 6+ years’ experience within UK accountancy practice

• Strong corporate and personal tax knowledge

• Proven advisory and business development experience

• Experience managing a client portfolio commercially

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop teams

• A commercially driven, entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to progress
