• Managing the end-to-end compliance process for a varied portfolio of private clients
• Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns to ensure accuracy and timely submission
• Overseeing workflow and quality control across the private client compliance function
• Liaising with HMRC on compliance matters including correspondence and enquiries
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a reliable point of contact
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team on compliance processes and procedures

• ATT and/or CTA qualified with a strong private client tax compliance background
• At least five years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Proven experience managing a private client tax compliance function
• Strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax compliance requirements and HMRC processes
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships professionally
